Bias Incident, Suspicious Activity, Civil Rights Training

As a committed advocate for the Muslim community, American Muslims for Democracy (AMD), a NJ volunteer run, non-profit organization has partnered with state and local agencies to create programs that address community concerns. Collaborating with the NJ Attorney General’s Office, Division of Civil Rights, Homeland Security, and the Department of Justice, AMD has coordinated a series of training sessions across the state at various community centers to educate the public on bias incidents, civil rights, and SARS reporting. These sessions highlight the crucial role of awareness, diligent reporting, and understanding legal protections in safeguarding community safety and justice.
