The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever offers a sacrifice after the Eid prayer has been completed has followed the way of the Muslims.” [Sahih al-Bukhari]

 In coordination with ENA Meat Packing, a 100% halal slaughterhouse, we have organized a full-service program for your Udhiyah/Qurbani needs this season.    

ENA will be selecting a much high-quality goat or lamb to be slaughtered on your behalf during the days of Eid, processed, and packaged for pick up at GCLEA.    

This year we have requested that the meat be processed into familiar cuts such as steaks, ribs, and cubes to give you more food prep options.  To account for this service, the meat will be available 3-5 days after the holiday.  

In addition, per your request, 1/3 of your sacrifice will be distributed to local families in need in accordance with prophetic tradition.

The distribution will be managed by Islamic Social Services of South Jersey.  

Orders must be made no later than Friday, July 8 at 6:00 pm.

Animals will be hand slaughtered on the day of Eid, insha Allah.

Pick up will be at GCLEA and is scheduled for Thursday, July 14 (subject to change). 

You will be contacted by email with a more percise window of time a few days in advance insha Allah.

Please note, this year's increase in price is due to the market's rising labor, transportation, feed, and packaging costs. 

This is an at-cost service offered annually by GCLEA.
