The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever offers a sacrifice after the Eid prayer has been completed has followed the way of the Muslims.” [Sahih al-Bukhari]
In coordination with Voorhees Halal Gyro, we have organized a full-service program for your Udhiyah/Qurbani needs this season.
They will be selecting a high-quality goat or lamb to be slaughtered on your behalf during the days of Eid, processed, and packaged for pick up at GCLEA.
The meat be processed into familiar cuts such as ribs, and cubes. To account for this service, the meat will be available a few days after the holiday.
In addition, per your request, 1/3 of your sacrifice will be distributed to local families in need in accordance with prophetic tradition.
The distribution will be managed by Islamic Social Services of South Jersey.
