Roots, Part 2

Roots is a survey course of the Imam al-Tahawiy's treatise on Islamic doctrine. 

This course focuses on spiritual development and is taught by Aishah Alam and is held on the first Sunday of each month from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm for six months starting Oct. 25.

Aishah Alam was born and raised in England and moved to the US almost a decade ago. 

In 2014, she founded a movement called The Strangers whose aim is to clear up misconceptions and revive the message of Islam through various creative means, one being poetry. Another means was through monthly get-togethers for sister through support groups and Halaqahs. 

She recently graduated as a social work major and is studying Islamic studies at Mishkah University and continues trying to expand her knowledge of Islam through various means.
